Let’s face it, our world is changing fast. The practices Yoga, Meditation, Reiki & Mindfulness are now of the norm. People know about these modalities, and are curious to learn more. Nowadays you might even be asked the question. ‘Do you meditate’? For a lot of my clients, the answer is no. They sit across from in my Reiki room me and say the following reasons on why they simply can’t meditate:
I can’t, it’s too hard.
I just can’t seem to quiet my mind.
I’ve tried, but it’s too difficult.
No, I’ve got too many thoughts.
A lot of people seem to have a fixed mindset on meditation – they believe it’s something they are just unable to do. But this is so far from the truth. Every single person has the ability to mediate – it is merely a choice. I know for myself if you had asked me to meditate eleven years ago, without any techniques, there was absolutely no way this would have happened. Back then, my mind was filled with so many negative thoughts, and the idea of quieting my mind for even one minute, would simply be impossible.
Now that I am an Energy Practitioner, Meditation Guide, and Love Coach, I have the ability to still my mind for hours on end. Eleven years ago I was someone who couldn’t even meditate for even one minute. Now I teach people how to meditate.
